About Us

Since March 2003, SCC has administered over 500 labor compliance programs for 50 School Districts and Community College Districts, totaling well over $4 billion in construction value.  Our professionals have recovered through audits and investigations nearly $3 million in underpaid wages and training fund contributions for California’s employees.

Our management team is key to the successful operation of our program.  Having attended and presented at public works and LCP conferences, attended public hearings regarding LCP rulemaking, been invited by the DIR’s legal counsel to participate in the vetting of proposed amendments to the California Code of Regulations (“CCR”), and included specific language in the now “final” amendments of the CCR, our management team has a proven record of knowledge and experience.

With this vast experience, the quality of our professional team and our involvement with the regulatory amendments to the CCR, SCC is prepared to provide the best available and highest quality services to our clients.

Our business philosophy and organizational method foster individual specialization in specific competencies by departmentalizing our operations into the core areas of enforcement. Our firm never has and never will subcontract any portion of our responsibilities to another entity; to do so may jeopardize any potential future funding for our clients and the integrity of our services.  Additionally, our firm has never had a contractual termination due to performance, nor has the DIR ever placed restrictions, limitations, or conditions upon our approved status or operating ability.

Our professionals are very responsive to all correspondence from our clients, and communicate regularly throughout the resolution of any inquiry or task.  We also provide monthly reports on the labor compliance status of all contractors so that our clients remain apprised of overall compliance status, as well as any violations pending resolution.
